George Hendrix Park currently encompasses 108.5 acres on Wilma Edwards Road. The park offers multiple facilities for sporting events including 8 baseball / softball fields, a regulation-sized soccer field, an indoor gymnasium. Three full-time service concessions are staffed by HPYRA volunteers during all the team games. Other amenities include two tennis courts, two stocked fishing ponds, two picnic pavilions and two playgrounds. Over 20,000 people visit the park annually.
